Landor Association Annual Lecture - Felicity Bee

Full CalendarSchool Events

This event will take place from 7:00pm on 26/01/2021

For our 2021 our annual Landor Association Lecture will be delivering it via Microsoft Teams online. However, we have a speaker for you from our Old Girl community every bit as interesting and entertaining as our previous Landor speakers, actor and Old Girl Sophie Turner from 'Game of Thrones', TV historian Lucy Worsley, and Old Girl, broadcaster and Cambridge don Helen Castor.

We are delighted to announce our 2021 speaker, is Old Girl Felicity Bee. She may not be a household name ... yet, but that may well change in the future. Felicity is a true embodiment of King's High's slogan 'aspire, achieve, enjoy'. In addition to studying Medicine at Cardiff University, Felicity is training hard for the British Olympic bobsleigh team and has her sights set on the Winter Olympics in Beijing (2022) and Milan (2026) .

Felicity recorded a motivational video for the school during lockdown, and stressed the self-discipline that comes from sport, which can help greatly in academic study. She strongly believes that sport can be enjoyed by everyone, and there is a sport out there for us all. We know that she will be an inspirational and engaging speaker and look forward to giving you further details of her talk, and how you can listen from your own homes, by the end of the year.

Please join us tonight at 7pm via teams. Please click here.
