This event will take place between 11:00am and 4:00pm on 20/11/2021

If you joined King’s High as an Upper Third in 1963 or 1964, did your O levels in 1968 or 1969 and / or your A levels in 1970 or 1971, or if you joined those year groups at any other time, then we are delighted to invite you to a Golden Reunion for the ‘Classes of 1970 and 1971’.

King’s High has changed a lot since the 1960s, not least of all because of the retirement of the late Miss Hare!  We will be pleased to show you the brand new King’s High on Banbury Road, as one of the first groups of Old Girls to be given this opportunity.

Come along for a day of nostalgia with your schoolfriends. Do you remember Delta? Were you in ‘The Paths of Glory’? Who has changed the most or least in 50 years? Did Mary Bloggs ever become an MP? Did you go on the Warwick Youth Walk? Were you taught by Miss Bate, Miss Wallace, Miss Whittlesey or the incomparable Mrs Soren? Did Jane Doe really marry Mick Jagger? What happened to Miss So-and-so?

The school will be open from 11.00 a.m. for tea, coffee and tours of the new site with the current pupils. A three-course lunch with wine or soft drinks will be served, prepared by the school’s French senior chef, M. Christophe Charpentier. Please see the attached link for the choice of menu. (School dinners have changed a lot in fifty years!) The Head Master, Dr Stephen Burley, will welcome you back to King’s High. Tickets are £20 per person. To book, please fill in the form by clicking below, having chosen your three course lunch from the attachment at the bottom oft his page..

It would be wonderful to read your school memories, too.

We would love to see you on Saturday 20th November at the new King’s High.

Please take a look at the list of your missing classmates (in the attachment below).. If you know anyone on this list who isn’t in touch with school, please ask her to contact Mrs Polly Beidas on p.beidas@kingshighwarwick.co.uk or 01926 735489. We’d be delighted to renew their acquaintance.

We look forward to receiving your booking.
